Routine Cleanings And Examinations

12

Your daily oral hygiene and teeth cleaning routine is essential for healthy teeth and gums, but alone is not enough to fully prevent all oral health issues. Brushing after every meal and flossing both morning and night helps remove plaque and bacteria that can lead to tooth decay and gum disease, but even the most thorough at-home routine may fall short in providing a deep and lasting clean. This is one of the many reasons routine visits to our Mesa family dentistry practice are so important.

Every Six Months

It is most common to schedule general dentistry visits at six month intervals. Maintaining these visits allows our dentists to detect early signs of oral health issues and provide treatment as needed to prevent them from becoming larger problems. These visits also give us an opportunity to fully clean your teeth and gums, helping prevent tooth decay, infection, and gum disease from occurring in the first place. We recommend these visits for all patients, even young children, for optimal oral health and wellness.

Biannual cleanings and examinations are fully covered by many dental insurance plans. We are contracted with a number of providers and will be happy to submit your paperwork for you following your visit to our office. If you do not have insurance, we will be happy to discuss financing options that may be available to assist you and your family in getting the advanced dental care you deserve.

Dr. Glenn LeSueur, and Dr. Charles Dodaro are Mesa dentists, serving Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, and other East Valley Cities in Arizona, combine LVI training and state-of-the-art technology to bring you, and your entire family, the very best and healthiest cosmetic and neuromuscular dental care.
