The use of immediate restorations prevents one of the biggest problems caused by having to wait two or more weeks for a dental restoration: shifting teeth. CERAC CAD/CAM restorations are commentated and sealed the same day the tooth is prepared thus reducing trauma to the tooth by minimizing exposure of the prepared tooth to the oral fluids and foods.
